La Quinta de Monje opened its doors in April 2014 by Mario Méndez and Felipe Domínguez, who already manage several successful restaurants in the city of Burgos.
Together with Chef Álvaro Ureña and his miniature pintxo cuisine, with flavors from around the world and original proposals, they seek to play and interact with the customer in a casual way.

These proposals have already been awarded in several competitions in the city, San Lesmes (Burgos) 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Being a finalist in the first contest of pintxos Castilla y Leon and winning the award for best taco of Spain KM 0.
The Local is awarded with a Repsol solete since 2023.
